Terms and Conditions – Deudio

Deudio is a brand of WITME ADVERTISING S.L., with Tax ID (NIF) B44680262, registered office at Av. Pablo Iglesias 17, 28003 Madrid (Spain), and registered in the Madrid Commercial Registry, Volume 35193, Folio 195, Section 8, Sheet M-632856 (the "Owner").

These Terms and Conditions govern the service that Deudio provides through deudio.com. They complement the Legal Notice, the Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy. By using the service, the User declares that they have read and accept them. If you do not agree, you must refrain from using it.

The service is intended exclusively for natural persons over 18 years of age residing in South Africa.

1. Nature of the service

Deudio is a free information and advertising service about financial products: personal loans, vehicle-secured loans, credit cards, accounts and mortgages. These products are marketed by credit institutions, financial credit institutions, other lenders and intermediaries (the "Partner Entities").

The Owner is not a credit institution. It does not lend money, does not grant financing, does not advise on the suitability of any product and does not decide on the approval of any application. Its activity consists of displaying information and offers from the Partner Entities, redirecting the User to their websites and, where the User consents, communicating to one or more Partner Entities the data provided in the form so that they can assess the application and contact the User.

2. How it works

The User may fill in the website forms with data such as the amount, the term, their employment status, their income and their contact details, in order to find products suited to their profile. From there, the service may work in two ways:

In both cases, the creditworthiness assessment, the provision of pre-contractual information, the decision whether or not to grant the product and the contracting are the exclusive responsibility of the Partner Entity, in accordance with its own terms.

The User undertakes to provide truthful and accurate information and to enter only their own data. The Owner is not liable for the consequences of false or inaccurate data, or third-party data, provided by the User.

3. Information about the offers

The conditions shown (interest rate, APR, amounts, terms, fees and requirements) come from the Partner Entities. They are for information purposes only and may include representative examples. The final conditions depend on the User's profile and on each entity's assessment. Only those set out in the pre-contractual and contractual documentation provided by the entity are binding.

The Owner strives to keep the information up to date, but does not guarantee that it is complete, accurate or current at all times. We recommend carefully reading the pre-contractual information provided by the entity before signing any contract.

4. Criteria for presenting offers and selecting entities

The offers shown do not represent all the products available on the market. They only include those of the Partner Entities with which the Owner has commercial agreements.

The order in which offers are displayed and the selection of the entities to which the User's application is sent are determined automatically. This combines each entity's acceptance criteria (amount, term, age, employment status, income, among others), the suitability of the product for the stated profile and the remuneration the Owner receives from each entity. This process does not constitute a decision on granting credit, which always rests with the entity. Sponsored positions, if any, are identified as such.

5. Free service and remuneration

The service is free for the User. The Owner receives its remuneration exclusively from the Partner Entities, as advertising, for the visits they receive through Deudio or for the applications forwarded to them.

Deudio never asks the User for advance payments, application fees or any other amount to obtain a loan. If anyone asks you for a payment on behalf of Deudio, it may be fraud. Please report it to us at rgpd@witme.es.

6. Responsible borrowing

Taking out a loan or a credit card involves assuming a payment obligation. We recommend applying only for the amount you can repay and comparing the total cost of credit before contracting. Non-payment may generate late-payment interest and fees, and may lead to inclusion in credit reference files.

7. Liability

The Owner shall not be liable for:

The foregoing is without prejudice to any liability that cannot legally be excluded vis-à-vis consumers.

8. Personal data

The processing of the User's personal data, including the communication of their data to Partner Entities and the categories of recipients, is governed by the Privacy Policy.

The User may withdraw their consent at any time by writing to rgpd@witme.es. Withdrawal will prevent new communications but does not affect those already made. For a Partner Entity to stop processing their data, the User must also contact that entity.

9. User support and complaints

For any query, incident or complaint about the Deudio service, the User may write to rgpd@witme.es. We will respond within a maximum of 30 days.

Complaints relating to a contracted product must be addressed to the customer service department of the relevant Partner Entity. If no satisfactory response is obtained, the User may contact the authority responsible for financial consumer protection in their country of residence.

10. Amendment, applicable law and jurisdiction

The Owner may amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will apply from their publication on this page and will not affect applications already submitted.

If any clause is declared null or ineffective, the remainder shall remain valid.

These Terms are governed by Spanish law. For any dispute, the User may go to the courts of their place of residence.
